KVCAP has an opening for an After Hours Support Staff person based in the Waterville Transportation office. The person in this position provides support for drivers, medical providers, consumers and the MaineCare Brokerage Monday – Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and may also include occasional weekend and holiday work. Tasks include calls to drivers regarding trip status, responding to breakdowns and contacting appropriate resources, filling urgent trip requests, responding to unexpected consumer situations, complaint resolution, etc. This will include periodic coverage of an off-site cell phone to respond to time-sensitive situations when the office is closed.
Requirements: One year of customer service based office experience; Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and trustworthy; Familiarity with trip scheduling software a plus; Ability to read a map and give clear directions; Knowledge of Somerset and Kennebec Counties and surrounding areas a plus; Accurate typing and data entry skills with attention to detail. Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; A willingness to assist people with a broad scope of special needs; Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of Agency programs and area resources helpful; Ability to pass State Bureau of Investigation, Department of Health and Human Services, Fraud and Sex Offender Registry background checks.
