About the Job
The individual will be required to operate various pieces of test and support equipment to include power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, RF receivers, and data acquisition systems used in testing military weapon systems.
Individual must be able to assemble and/or install equipment or parts requiring complex wiring, soldering or connecting circuit boards and cable harnesses.
Individual must be able to work from schematics or verbal direction and execute test operations while ensuring all activities are done in compliance with safety guidelines.
Individual should have computer skills, be able to use Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and the ability to prepare informal test reports.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Individual should have the capability of taking and passing explosive certification Level II.
Must be capable of working in a hazardous environment.
Individual must have the ability to work well with others, must have a strong work ethic, be a motivated self-starter, be well organized and be on time for work.
The position may require shift work and travel.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
A.S. degree in electronics; or a High School Diploma and successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and two (2) years of experience used in military applications.
