Responsible for the overall demand management and SIOP processes for Brooks’ global service and manufacturing businesses. Partners with Sales, Service, Product Management and Operations to develop and execute the optimal Sales and Operations processes. Key focus areas will be the design and implementation of improved SIOP business processes and toolset; facilitation of a consensus sales forecast; collaboration with Operations and planners to agree a master plan and backlog recovery actions. In addition, the SIOP Manager will work closely with local supply chain teams to develop Planning BOMs, S&OP Metrics and Inventory Plans. Primary focus of this role entails forecasting, inventory optimization and projects and metrics analysis.
Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement and inventory availability. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and demand planning systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. Drives the availability of materials in the supply chain, as needed by the business operations, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs. Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory. May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. May work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree from a top-tier university with minimally 4 years experience.
Ability to process large data sets: interpret and use, to ultimately execute a plan.
Understanding the concept of planning utilizing an ERP system.
Ability to interact with multiple levels within the organization (business line leaders, country heads).
Possess both strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility in working with Asian team to drive process improvements.
