This position will lead a transformation of a specialty metals producer from one that is reliant on paper to operate the business to a modern, paperless manufacturing facility. This position will need experience with hardware and software solutions, project management, cost justifications, and project execution with well-defined, measureable deliverables. Excellent communication, coordination and training abilities are required. The person in this position will need to stay current with market trends related to systems and support.

System Integration and Ongoing Management:
Have knowledge of network architecture, custom GUI interface development, systems integration, data management and reporting experience.
Define technical requests for TIMET’s IS department to perform detailed data storage, linking or parallel processing requests
Experience with SAP, Wonderware, and Oracle a plus.
A firm understanding of relational database structures and query languages.
An aptitude for translating complex, technical subjects into clear, business-oriented communication
Develop reusable repository of tools, work objects, best practices, project delivery standards, thought leadership and frameworks for efficient execution of shop floor data management
Maintain knowledge of the trends and technologies in data collection, management, data services and integrations
Identify and resolve data/information gaps to meet business goals
Build data models to solve specific business problems
Project Management Skills:
Experience preferred in an industrial plant setting
Develop specifications for required hardware, software and system communication wiring
Estimate project costs, plan project schedules and develop project budgets
Develop documentation for capital funds approval
Requisition and purchase equipment and services
Manage entire project from conception, through design and construction to completion and final checkout
Must be able to communicate with plant operating personnel and corporate personnel to help determine project needs
Must be able to plan and coordinate multiple tasks at one time
Must be able to manage and coordinate project teams concerning scheduling tasks to reach project goals/milestones for budget and schedule
Must be able to properly plan all project tasks
Needs to understand all project phases from project start through design, procurement, installation, commission and startup
Must use experience, if necessary, to generate project estimates
Proficient at Microsoft Office apps including Microsoft Project

Education and Experience
4 year degree (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related education)
7-10 years of experience
Experience implementing new systems on a plant wide scale is a plus
