First Energy Met Ed is hosting a Job Fair at their Contact Center on Route 61 near the Fairgrounds Square Mall in conjunction with their trusted advisor staffing partner Everstaff on Wednesday April12th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. We are inviting anyone who would like to take a tour of the facility, learn about the unique and rewarding Career Path First Energy offers, as well as the 6 types of compensation programs that First Energy bestows upon its employees.
FirstEnergy has three virtual contact centers, located in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, that handle over 16 million calls per year. The contact centers’ normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with 24-hour emergency staff.
The Customer Service Rep position is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity. Candidates will start as contract (temporary) employees employed by Everstaff with eligibility to become FirstEnergy employees once performance measures and goals are met which could be as soon as 4 months after starting assignment. Candidates will be required to attend an in-depth training program which will teach all aspects of the position.
When you attend this dynamic event, you will be shown around the massive First Energy Campus and get a unique insight into the various departments and job opportunities at the Reading, PA location. There will be discussions about the energizing career path First Energy offers, complete with descriptions and focus point on the various job titles listed on the career advancement guideline.
