As the Director of Variable Compensation, you will lead a team responsible for the creation, implementation and administration of our client’s pay programs.

In this integral role, you’ll develop a comprehensive rewards strategy that aligns employee rewards with results that support our client’s strategic business objectives.

You’ll take ownership of the development of a range of programs, including variable/incentive pay, executive compensation, sales compensation and equity programs.

Additionally, your duties will involve:

- Consulting with HR Partners and Executives regarding compensation plan designs and strategic initiatives
- Designing communications tools to ensure that compensation plans are fully understood
- Analyzing employee salary competitiveness
- Keeping abreast of new trends in compensation packages

To be considered, you will need:

- At least 12 years’ increasingly responsible experience in corporate compensation, including a strong understanding of variable pay solutions
- Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing compensation plans, including short term, long term and executive compensation or sales compensation
- Experience gained within a public company
- Previous experience of developing proxies and Board material
- The ability to gauge the effectiveness of an organization’s variable compensation programs, effectively utilizing data and translating analysis into actionable insights, strategies and financial plans
- A BA and/or BS degree in HR, finance or a similar subject (or equivalent experience)

As the Director of Variable Compensation, you’ll be a collaborative leader who takes a hands-on approach to key projects. Results-oriented and ambitious, you’ll also have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in an ever-changing environment.
