Position Summary: Trains new hires and existing employees to all IPC certifications, Process Instruction Authorizations, unique contractual certifications and special processes as assigned for the company.
Trains new and existing employees to various Training Plans. This includes training in groups and one-on-one sessions.
Participates in the oversight of SOPs that are used by Training and ensures compliance or the change of the documents to reflect actual activities. Performs due diligence prior to any changes to ensure the change will not violate AS9100 or Customer specific contractual requirements.
Assists the inspection and/or production department when an urgent need for personnel is requested by either to meet Customer schedule requirements as approved by the Training Manager or VP of Quality Assurance.
Participates with tracking and scheduling new and existing training.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in DOD manufacturing with strong knowledge of and experience with technical assembly and soldering of circuit cards and electronic components.
Experience with Military and international Quality System rules, regulations, standards,including planning and implementation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment essential.

Strong computer skills; particularly creating and executing Presentations in Microsoft Power Point.
Current IPC CIT certification in one or more of the IPC Specifications (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001).
