Answer all incoming call to the credit union. Must be able to present, explain, and problem solve deposit accounts, loans, automated services, ATM/Visa Debit cards, and HPCU credit cards. Responsible to conduct research, perform file maintenance, and communicate with third party vendors.
Requires knowledge and cross selling of the features, benefits and uses of all credit union products and services when appropriate to members when they call.
Provide requested account information to members after proper identification.
Complete member transactions as requested by telephone which include: transfer of funds between accounts, withdraws via mail, wire transfers, advances to existing line of credit loans, and loan payments.
Be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, manage difficult situations, and maintain confidentiality.
Speak clearly and persuasively, listens and gets clarification, and responds well to questions.
Be able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
Previous call center experience preferred but, not necessary.
Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.
Hours:Hours are between 7am to 4:30pm M-F and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
